Harold (Hal) Reinstein is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As Managing Director of The Reinstein Nelson Team, Hal is a guiding force for the sophisticated wealth management and financial planning services we provide clients. Supporting high-net-worth individuals and families as they navigate complex financial landscapes is the hallmark of his work. Through his keen advisory, our clients gain tailored guidance and planning strategies that can help preserve their wealth and protect their financial lives. Hal oversees the meticulous handling of our discretionary portfolios and provides clear, deliberate guidance as our primary portfolio manager. He enjoys leading families through their multi generational wealth journey and is committed to proactively supporting our clients' goals toward a prosperous future.
Our clients have diverse needs and ambitions within their wealth landscape, and Hal brings a passion for following the market while optimizing wealth strategies for each person we support. He is proud of our team's cohesive planning and prioritizes personal communication while guiding clients' day-to-day needs. To this goal, Hal is a steadfast ally addressing our clients' legacy and trust planning goals, among other essential priorities along their wealth journey.
Hal and his team joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023 after he served as Managing Director and Wealth Manager at both First Republic and Merrill Lynch. He began his wealth management career at Prudential Securities in 1994. Throughout his three-decades-long career, Hal has refined his high-touch, caring client service while earning a multitude of industry designations and accolades. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM professional designation.
Hal earned his B.S. in Finance and B.A. in English literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dedicated to community building, he continues to engage with many foundations, endowments and ERISA plans.
