About John
John Slattery is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
John delivers holistic advisory guidance that addresses the personal and sophisticated financial needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, former and current executives of publicly traded companies and the private equity community.
John's nearly 30 years of financial industry experience have afforded him a thoughtful view of the complexities of significant capital. He works closely with a select group of clients to provide strategic direction in the areas of diversification, tax minimization, estate planning and other long-term wealth management strategies.
John designs asset allocations and tailored portfolios that target the preservation of wealth while seeking conservative growth and the income necessary for cash flow requirements and retirement planning. He partners alongside clients' CPAs and other trusted consultants to help ensure the totality of each client's financial picture is carefully considered.
A graduate of Providence College, John holds a B.S. in Marketing and Finance. He has been a Financial Advisor since 1994, beginning at Merrill Lynch, followed by UBS Financial Services and Morgan Stanley. Drawing on a lifelong interest in the markets, John has focused his attention on the specialized wealth management needs of highly affluent individuals and families.
He joined J.P. Morgan in 2018 for the opportunity to offer his clients the benefit of boutique-level support coupled with the quality research and fortress balance sheet of one of the most well-renowned financial companies in the world.
John plays an active role within his local community and recently completed six years on the Board of Covenant House International, a non-profit that provides housing and supportive services to at-risk youth facing homelessness. During his time with the organization, he received their prestigious Beacon of Hope Award to recognize his dedication and service.
