William Hartshorne is a Vice President and Lending Specialist at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, covering the West Coast.

Leveraging more than 15 years of experience in financial services, William develops and implements Securities-Based Lending (SBL) strategies for Advisors and their clients, which include high-net-worth individuals and family offices. He works to deliver a seamless experience for Advisors and clients alike, managing the origination, credit administration and client service processes associated with SBL products.

William joined J.P. Morgan in 2023 from a role as Director of Securities-Based Lending at First Republic Bank, where he co-led a bicoastal lending team. Previously, he held roles in both SBL and Brokerage Operations. He began his career at State Street Bank & Trust in 2008, where he was a Senior Portfolio Accountant.

William earned an M.B.A. with a focus on entrepreneurship from Babson College, along with a B.S. in Business Administration–Finance from California State University, Chico. He is a proud alum of Jesuit High Sacramento. William holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

A resident of Sonoma County with his wife and two children, William describes himself as a sports fanatic.
