About Daniel
Dan Cote is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Dan is a Senior Partner in The Dolgoff Group. He and his team manage relationships for a range of corporate executives and institutions, offering services including equity strategies, manager selection and due diligence. Dan tailors these services to meet the strategic requirements, risk tolerance and cash flow objectives of his clients, and articulates J.P. Morgan's investment thesis in response to market conditions.
Dan has almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as a Sales Associate at Citibank in 2003 and moved to a J.P. Morgan predecessor firm in 2005. Dan credits J.P. Morgan's service-driven business model, coupled with the company's reputation for working with early-stage entrepreneurs, as primary ingredients in the success of his team.
His interest in financial services began when he worked as an intern in college for a major brokerage firm. Dan observed how Financial Advisors provided research and analysis to busy clients, and he recognized the importance of having an opinion and philosophy to keep the client focused on the long-term investment strategy. This experience propelled him to obtain the CFP® designation in 2019.
Dan graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth with a B.S. in Finance. He and his wife, Julie, live in Andover, Massachusetts, with their three sons, Benjamin, Owen and Charlie. He enjoys playing golf, soccer and basketball. He also is heavily involved in Andover's Youth Soccer Association.
CFP Board owns the marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® in the U.S.
