About Daniel
Dan Gallagher is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
In 2023, Dan joined the firm with his colleagues after spending most of his 20-plus year career at BNY Mellon, where he was most recently a Senior Director of Wealth Management.
Each day, Dan shares his entrepreneurial spirit and decades of industry knowledge with clients—successful business owners, industry professionals and other corporate executives, and generations of families he's known for years.
On each client's behalf, he educates whenever possible on the markets, their asset allocation strategy, customized portfolio, cash flow projections, or an estate planning strategy that can preserve wealth for children and grandchildren. For Dan, the opportunity to help people and take pride in doing so has never wavered.
Dan followed in the "banking" footsteps of his father— but not at first. While in high school, Dan was intrigued with computer programming and majored in the subject. Later, with a desire to help families put their wealth to work, he earned a B.B.A. from Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dan also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and a place in his heart for serving his community as a youth sports coach.
He and his wife, Alexandra, make their home in Billerica, where life revolves around their sports-minded son and daughter.
