About Sonya

Sonya Oliver is a Vice President and Investment Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Sonya has been working with high-net-worth families for over 20 years. She joined J.P. Morgan in 2023 through the acquisition of First Republic Private Wealth Management, where she had worked with her team since 2015. She has spent her entire career in the financial industry, with earlier tenures at Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley. While at Morgan Stanley, Sonya first met Keith Webster and Robin Yoshimura, developing the long-term ties that continue today.

Sonya earned her B.S. with an emphasis in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.

Within her community, Sonya is the Treasurer for Hermosa Hermanos, an organization that promotes community involvement and volunteerism for young men with the support of their moms in Hermosa Beach.

Sonya resides in Hermosa Beach with her husband and their two sons. They enjoy travelling as a family, and especially like spending vacation time in Costa Rica and Montana.
