About John

John McNamee is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder and leader of The McNamee White Group, John provides wealth management services, including estate planning, asset allocation, and equity and fixed income management, to multi-generational families and institutions. He has earned a number of national accolades for his work in private wealth management.
Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023, John was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management, which he joined in 2020. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management, where he spent 25 years.
John earned his B.A. from the University of Southern California and his M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
Dedicated to his local community, John serves on the board of the Catholic Community Foundation of Los Angeles and is an Executive Committee member of The Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. He is a former Big Brother and board member of the Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles.
