Gilmar draws on significant wealth management experience. Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, he was a Vice President and Client Relationship Director with First Republic Investment Management. Earlier in his career, Gilmar spent more than nine years with Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President and Wealth Management Professional. Active in wealth management since 2008, Gilmar earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.

Outside the office, Gilmar volunteers with the POSSE Foundation, an organization that identifies high school students with academic excellence and leadership potential and connects them to prestigious colleges and universities, empowering a diverse group of leaders. A resident of Century City, Gilmar has a passion for cooking and enjoys trying new restaurants in the Los Angeles area.
