About Carlos
Carlos Manuel Mendez is a Senior Client Associate with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Carlos is a member of the Donnelly Wealth Management Group support staff, as a front line liaison with the group's clients, responding to their inquiries, maintaining required account documentation and facilitating administrative matters.
Previously, he worked in both the J.P. Morgan Advisors and the J.P. Morgan Private Bank wealth management divisions as well as in the Consumer & Community Bank in Investment Product Specialist, Risk and Small Business Specialist Banker roles. Carlos graduated from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Latin American Studies. Carlos started his financial services career as an investment product specialist at the Citigroup Private Bank for three years, and joined JP Morgan & Co. in 2011.
Carlos' background gives him a unique perspective and insight into the financial and personal needs and goals of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families and business owners. Above all, Carlos has earned a reputation for being transparent, a problem-solver, passionate about delivering an excellent client experience and exceling at orchestrating the front line of the client experience. He taps his deep knowledge in cash management strategies and investment products to support the Donnelly Wealth Management Group's clients. He also excels at effectively communicating between clients and their external financial and family office support systems, such as estate attorneys and accountants. He holds FINRA SIE, Series 7 & Series 66 securities licenses.
Carlos is a 2nd generation New Yorker, was born in Brooklyn and is fluent in Spanish and English. Carlos currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys watching anything Star Wars related.
