About Cecil

Cecil Shepherd is a Senior Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Prior to joining the U.S. Wealth Management business, Cecil was a money markets trader at J.P. Morgan Prime Brokerage, and held multiple positions within the firm's Corporate and Investment Bank, as well as in the Asset and Wealth Management line of business. He previously worked at Bear Stearns, the former Chase Manhattan Bank, Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley.

A native New Yorker, Cecil graduated from Pace University with a degree in Finance and earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan, where he is the current president of the business school's New York alumni club. He continued his post graduate work in Risk Management at Columbia Business School.

Cecil currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations, and previously passed the Series 65, 3 and 31 exams. He is also a CFP® Candidate and will complete his CFP program studies in June 2023 at the University of California, Los Angeles. During his free time, Cecil enjoys playing tennis and softball, and was once a contestant on "The Price is Right."
