"“Financial decisions are made by people. That’s why we combine our financial wisdom with insights into the personalities and emotions which often drive human behavior and markets. It’s also why we spend significant time helping clients understand the feelings and biases that may stand in their way. I feel a strong sense of accomplishment when clients feel understood, happy and confident. When I can remove the noise and emotion from clients’ heads, they can make thoughtful financial decisions.”"

About Maureen

Maureen McNally is a Managing Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Maureen is celebrating more than 15 years in wealth management, with client relationships spanning generations. Before joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, she was a Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management, which she joined in 2009. In her current role, Maureen focuses on the design, implementation and management of customized portfolio solutions for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, endowments and foundations. Financial and estate planning is also a large part of her focus with clients.

Maureen recognizes a client's wealth is more than just numbers on a balance sheet—and wishes may change over time. This is why her discovery process is rigorous and ongoing, not a one-time event. It allows her to shape and adjust a strategy around a client's evolving needs.

A skilled communicator, Maureen believes in keeping explanations simple and straightforward—helping clients understand their portfolios, what they own and why. She also reminds clients their "human capital" is as important as their "invested capital," particularly if they are compensated in company stock. She is well aware clients lead busy lives and can be overwhelmed by financial decisions—especially those which involve long-term planning for family members.

Maureen holds the Chartered Financial Analyst®(CFA®) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and CFA Institute. She earned a B.S. in Finance from Providence College, where she was a member of its Division I Women's Swim Team.

The daughter of a CPA and an art teacher, Maureen may have followed her father's career path into financial services, but she strongly feels creative thinking and communication has played a significant role in deepening connections with clients.

Maureen is deeply passionate about getting more women interested in careers in finance. These days, she shares her own financial lessons—leading financial literacy and investing classes through "Rock the Street Wall Street" at Sacred Heart Academy (her high school alma mater on Long Island)—where she was recently honored. Maureen also mentors at SHE-CAN, a non-profit helping young women from post-conflict countries attend universities in the U.S.

Maureen resides in Brooklyn Heights, and loves exploring her own city as much as traveling abroad. She is passionate about working out (especially boxing), live music and antiquing. Her favorite activity in the summer is taking the ferry after work for dinner on Rockaway Beach.
