About Hannah
Hannah Forney is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Hannah works closely with multiple generations of client families, as well as individual athletes, helping them approach their wealth more thoughtfully and strategically. She shares the wisdom she has gained from guiding families through important decisions in their lives and wealth, supporting them in reducing stress, regaining time in their lives, and enhancing the clarity of their financial frameworks.
Deeply committed to the clients she serves, Hannah takes her work very seriously, recognizing the preciousness of client trust. She devotes significant time and energy to her client relationships, demonstrating how much she values each person through her attentiveness and care. Her areas of focus include long-term planning, estate planning strategies and guardianship, concentrated stock strategies, portfolio design, retirement planning, and cash flow. A strong communicator, Hannah collaborates well with clients' external tax and legal advisors, advancing steady momentum on shared initiatives.
Clients look to Hannah as a reliable presence in their lives—someone who will speak with them honestly, sharing the ideas she has gained from advising peer clientele. Hannah, in turn, is proud to become a member of a client's extended family, walking with them through key crossroads in their lives, legacies, and wealth.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023 with her team, Hannah spent nearly five years with First Republic Private Wealth Management, where she was a Vice President and Wealth Manager. Earlier, she served as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for four years. Committed to professional excellence, Hannah holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification awarded by the CFP® Board of Standards, Inc. She also holds the AIF® designation.
Hannah earned her B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was a member of the Women's Basketball Team for four years, served as team captain, and earned Academic All-Big 12 status.
Following graduation, she was an Assistant Coach for the Women's Basketball Team at Colorado Christian University. Hannah was newly appointed to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) Board of Directors and is also on the board of Sport Oregon.
Within her community, Hannah has been an active fundraiser for Special Olympics and participated in its Executive Polar Plunge in the Willamette River—an experience she is brave enough to repeat next year.
Hannah and her husband, Michael, love to spend time with their three young sons. They stay active as a family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, enjoying the outdoors, and venturing on the ski slopes.
