About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Yandle is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
Jeff provides steady counsel and thoughtful advice to individuals and families, helping them grow, preserve and transfer their wealth more effectively. He offers deep dedication and an authentic desire to enhance the well-being of each person, often advising multiple generations within a single family.
Jeff points to the continuity of his team, the customization they can provide and the integrity of their advice as key differentiators. He notes that his team is purposefully designed to provide clients with stability for years to come, walking with families through different life stages. Jeff explains that flexibility is a key attribute of the team's investment approach. They do not use predetermined investment models. Instead, each portfolio reflects a client's individualized goals, interests, cash-flow needs, risk tolerance and tax situation—an organic outflow. Jeff also relates that the team strives to incorporate the vision and values of each family, communicating across generations and serving as an independent, rational voice.
Jeff leans on the knowledge he has gained from more than four decades in investing, trust and wealth management. He joined J.P. Morgan Wealth Management in 2023, moving with his team. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director and Wealth Manager at First Republic Investment Management, where he served for more than 17 years. His tenures also include roles with U.S. Trust, where he was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager; Wells Fargo, where he was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager; and First Interstate Bank, where he served in the Institutional Investment Department. Jeff began his financial services career in 1984.
Jeff earned his B.A. from the University of Portland and did post-graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame.
Active in his local community, Jeff currently serves as the Board Chair for Catholic Charities of Oregon and is a member of the board of Candlelighters for Children with Cancer. He also serves on the investment committee of the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon and is a member of the Arlington Club in Portland.
Previously, Jeff served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East, Metropolitan Family Services, Maybelle Center for Community and LaSalle High School Foundation. He is also past president and former chair of the investment committee for the Abbey Foundation of Oregon.
Jeff and his wife, Molly, enjoy traveling, trips to the Oregon coast and spending time with their two children, four grandchildren, and dog, Oscar.
