About Habib

Habib Ngom is a Vice President with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

He is responsible for planning and directing all day-today operations for The PDI Group, as well as managing client relationships and processing stock transactions. Committed to service excellence, Habib's goal in navigating all aspects of onboarding new clients is to make sure that the procedure is efficient and timely.

Habib has 24 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined a J.P. Morgan predecessor firm in 2003. Previously, he worked at CIBC Oppenheimer (2001–2003), where he first worked with Managing Director and Wealth Advisor Betsy Bliss. Before that, he worked at Robertson Stephens (2000–2001) as a syndicate coordinator. He began his career as a retirement specialist with Charles Schwab & Co. in San Francisco (1998–2000), where he planned and designed retirement products for families and small institutions.

Habib received a B.S. in Economics from San Francisco State University. Originally from Senegal, a Frenchspeaking country, he is fluent in both French and English, and has conversational ability in Spanish and a working knowledge of Arabic. He moved to the United States to study, and lived in New York City for a few years before relocating to the Bay Area. He lives in Oakland, CA, with his wife and two children.
