About Vito
Vito Gioiello is a Managing Director and Wealth Partner at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of FGF Partners, Vito works closely with successful individuals and families, helping them deploy and transfer their wealth more effectively. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience, he offers the wisdom he has gained over multiple market cycles, helping clients enact a disciplined investment strategy grounded in a long-term perspective. To each relationship, Vito brings a genuine interest in each person or family, walking with them through key crossroads in their lives and wealth. He shares that he is "endlessly fascinated" by people and the investment markets, a combination that yields a highly customized approach to address the needs and interests of each client.
People from varied paths seek Vito's assistance. Many are business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals. Others have undergone significant transitions in their lives, such as the death of a loved one, a divorce or an inheritance. Whatever a client's background, Vito offers an ingrained work ethic and the one-on-one attention to support people's priorities and aspirations. As a fiduciary, he is obligated to put clients' interests ahead of his own—a standard that he welcomes: "I look to treat clients as if they were my own mother, sister, or cousin," he shares, a perspective that has resulted in enduring relationships that often span decades.
Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023, Vito spent more than 15 years with First Republic Investment Management, where he was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager. Earlier, he served for five years as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Manchester Capital Management, a multi-family office. Vito's career also includes tenures with Northern Trust and City National Investment Advisors in Los Angeles, where he specialized in constructing tax-efficient portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and trusts.
Vito earned his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Southern California and his B.S. in Finance from California State University, Long Branch. He is a CFA® charter holder awarded through the CFA® Institute.
Committed to helping others, Vito has served on the board of Catholic Charities of Santa Barbara for more than 24 years and is its past President. In 2023, Catholic Charities honored him with its Mistletoe Ball Award in recognition of his dedicated service. Vito currently sits on the board of People's Self-Help Housing.
Vito and his wife, Veda, have one daughter, Bridget, who is married and lives in Santa Fe. In his free hours, he enjoys playing golf.
