Fareena Cortez is a Senior Client Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As an important member of the team, Fareena provides operational and problem-solving support for institutions and high-net-worth individuals and families. Her responsibilities include executing trades, preparing financial documents and fund transfers. She has a reputation for managing day-to-day activities in a steady and experienced manner.
Fareena earned an M.B.A. from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.S. in Finance from The University of Maryland Global Campus. With three years of experience in financial services, she began her career in 2021 at Chevy Chase Trust as a Trust Officer. Fareena joined J.P. Morgan in 2022. She passed the FINRA SIE and holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Fareena lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys vacationing in tropical islands and spending time with her Siberian Husky and Golden Retriever. She is also a big foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants around the DC, Maryland and Virginia region.
