About Crista
Crista Tucker is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of The Tucker Shevlin Group, Crista provides leadership, advice and continuity to multigenerational families, serial entrepreneurs, business owners, senior executives and nonprofit organizations, helping them deploy their wealth with greater insight and effectiveness. Clients see Crista as an extension of their families, reflecting the depth of her knowledge and the intimate familiarity she brings to each relationship. An attentive listener and empathetic guide, she centers her work on each client's priorities and aspirations, catering to those objectives through integrated strategy, planning and service.
Crista draws on more than 25 years of wealth management experience. She has extensive depth addressing the needs of women business owners, mindful of the many demands on their time. Her range of capabilities includes tax-sensitive wealth transfer, pre-liquidity-event planning, business structuring, investment management, and charitable giving. By aligning multiple facets of client wealth, Crista is able to capitalize on underlying efficiencies and remedy possible gaps. This clarity, Crista notes, is instrumental in designing a more direct pathway to client objectives, helping people grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth more effectively.
Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with her team in 2023, Crista was a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with First Republic Private Wealth Management. Earlier, she spent 13 years with Wells Fargo Private Bank, where she was a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor. Crista's experience also includes six years as a Relationship Manager with Wachovia Wealth Management in New York City. She began her investment career as an Analyst for Callan Associates in 1997. Crista earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Richmond and her M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Active in her community, Crista serves on the board of ArtsWestchester, an organization that supports the arts through education, funding and professional development.
Crista and her husband, BJ, have four daughters. They enjoy spending time on weekends at their home in Vermont, where they like to ski and hike. In her free hours, Crista also likes to play golf.
