About Gregory
Gregory Shevlin is an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.
As a co-founder of The Tucker Shevlin Group, Greg develops deep relationships with clients and their families, becoming an essential member of their inner circle. He provides sustained leadership and guidance to a select group of individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations, helping them navigate the opportunities and challenges that can accompany substantial wealth. Clients from varied paths look to Greg for advice, including serial entrepreneurs, business owners, senior executives, multigenerational families, and endowments and foundations. To each of these relationships, Greg offers the acumen and perspective to help clients pursue their objectives with greater confidence, designing a clear pathway to their ambitions.
Within the team, Greg has particular depth in portfolio design and investment management. Drawing on more than 35 years of experience, he offers the judgment and technical insight to support clients in weathering diverse market conditions, relying on a disciplined investment methodology. Closely attuned to each client's circumstances, Greg offers a highly tailored approach that reflects a client's time horizons, cash-flow needs, tax circumstances, legacy intentions and liquidity parameters. He appreciates that successful clients can require a more sophisticated opportunity set and facilitates access to an expanded suite of capabilities.
Prior to moving to J.P. Morgan Wealth Management with his team in 2023, Greg served as a Managing Director and Wealth Manager with First Republic Private Wealth Management. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President and Investment Strategist at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he worked for five years. Greg's experience also includes 25 years with J.P. Morgan, where he took on increasing responsibilities in asset management and private banking. He began his investment and wealth management career in 1991 and holds an M.B.A. and a B.B.A. from Hofstra University.
Originally from Long Island, Greg is proud to have put down roots in his home community with his wife, Nora, and their five children. Eager to give back, he has volunteered for many years as a youth soccer coach. In his free hours, Greg loves to spend time on the water or at the beach. He also likes to stay fit, either by working out or playing sports with his children. A music enthusiast, Greg can often be found at live music events.
